Premiere Production:My Big Gay Italian Wedding premiered Off Broadway at the Actor's Playhouse in November, 2003. It was directed by Peter Rapanaro. The play was subsequently presented with a revised and updated version of the script in a benefit performance at the St. George Theatre in Staten Island on September 12, 2009. It was directed and also produced by Teresa A. Cicala. The revised film moved to an open-ended Equity scamper at the St. Luke's Theatre Off Broadway in May 2010, adding unique music by David Boyd. As of January 2012, the show continues to run successfully at St. Luke's Theatre.

On the 9th the 10th of January at 8PM in the Seminole Ballroom at the Hardrock Hollywood Hotel & Casino, "My Big Lgbtq+ Italian Wedding" marks its twenty-second year with two special performances, by invitation only. In addition to a few surprises and unique guests in this performance, some of the original cast members will be re-united for this event.
Anthony Pinnunziato, a gay Italian-American from a large chaotic family, wants to marry his boyfriend/girlfriend Andrew Polinski in a traditional Italian ceremony. Anthony's overbearing mother won't give her blessing unless Andrew's estranged mother also gives her blessing and the ceremony is performed by a priest. Matters are further complicated by Andrew's ex-boyfriend, intent on breaking up the couple. My Large Gay Italian Wedding satirizes the controversy surrounding same-sex marriage while drawing on larger than experience gay and Italian characters.

Off-Broadway veteran actor and producer Anthony J. Wilkinson’s My Huge Gay Italian Casino Adventure at Sound Waves at Challenging Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic Urban area premiered last week.
