Season 3 of Emily in Paris dropped on le Netflix on Dec. 21 and with it, all of our theories about where the Camille/Gabriel/Emily/Alfie love square was going to move. In fact, with all the shakeups going down this season, it's more like a affection square dance. Emily is still torn between Gabriel and Alfie, but Gabriel is with Camille who we come across is only with Gabriel because he loves Emily, who always seems to choose work over everyone else. And somewhere inside of all this drama, a modern love interest for Camille enters the chat — and to that, we say, finally. She's been on the outskirts of a game of feeling tag and it's time Camille gets her due. Interestingly enough, this novel person is a bit different than what Camille normally goes for. The new crush is a woman, which begs the doubt, is Camille gay? If so, we're totally here for it.

A Queer Character Is Set To Depart Emily In Paris For Season Five
In a bittersweet twist for fans of Emily in Paris, the hit Netflix series is bidding adieu to one of its beloved queer characters, Camille, portrayed by French actress Camille Razat.
As production gears up for Season 5 this May, Variety has confirmed that Camille will not be returning as a series regular, marking a change in the show’s dynamic, especially for LGBTQIA+ representation.

Since its debut, Emily in Paris has been acknowledged for its lofty fashion, romantic entanglements, and dreamy Parisian aesthetics.
But amid the glitz and glam, Camille stood out not only for her chic French flair but also for her role as a uncommon bisexual character in mainstream romantic comedy television.
Her bisexuality was explored in Season 3 when she engaged in a passionate affair with Greek artist Sofia (Melia Kreiling), providing a refreshing departure from the show’s otherwise heteronormative storytelling.
Camille is one of only a scant queer characters in the program including gay man Julian (Samuel Arnold) and Camille’s lover, Sofia (Melia Kreiling).

I’m one of those guys that often doesn’t bounce into a trend or a show, but will wait for things to fall where they may, letting the dust decide, allow the reviews to float to the surface. I’ve heard mixed reviews of ‘Emily in Paris’ and therefore have not bitten the bullet, haven’t started the binge watching.
But now seeing one of the stars explored in a recent Men’s Health article, Emily in Paris Star Lucien Laviscount on Alfie’s Fate in Season 3, I am a little intrigued. Yes, it’s because of the eye candy mainly. GUILTY. But please, we’ve all watched a show or a movie just to observe the actor and not for the plot. Oh wait, that’s porn. But no, I know I’ve done it before for the actor and not the story. Yes, that’s what sucked me into Altered Carbon Season 1 and Joel Kinnaman and his umpteen nude scenes. That story finally got better as the episodes went on, and yes, I’ve heard the matching about Emily in Paris, it gets better.
So about that carrot that was just dangled in front of me. Hello Lucien Leon Laviscount
