Is teller gay

Anonymous asked:

I know many fans think Teller is gay. But looking at the selfies he has taken with fans (female) he seems to enjoy himself and don't remain out as male lover to me. I'm gay myself, and I don't receive why people assess he's gay. I think he is awesome, whatever or not he's homosexual. Just wanted to share my thoughts Cool blog btw

Okay, I’ll give.

I’m going to kickoff with this; his sexuality is purely his business and we as fans do not include the right to bother him about his private existence. Speculation is one thing. Everything I am about to say is pure speculation on my part and is not based in fact, but a matter of opinion.

When it comes to anyone on the planet, sexuality is a complicated thing. If you own a room entire of 50 people and all of them are dressed alike and don the same posture, it is nearly impossible to inform who is what. There are certainly some people out there that demonstrate their sexuality on their sleeve, and others who are closeted to the public. When it comes to Teller, it is certainly impossible to say.

The thing that you have to recollect here is that he’s a dude who has devoted his life to show business, and a lot of p

Penn & Teller Bullshit: Does Teller ever talk?

BluePitbull1

Does he ever utter in this show? Contribute any points? What is the point of Teller in this show?

Are you familar at all with Penn & Teller, the stage act? They’re magicians. Teller’s shtick is that he doesn’t talk. One would not assume him to converse on the television show, either.

He CAN talk, and is quite well spoken and extremely intelligent. He talks on camera, even. Just not when he is acting as Teller Of Penn And Teller.

I look you are ignorant of the Penn & Teller schtick.

Teller never talked during their magic acts (pre-Bullshit, though they may still carry out them—I’m unsure there) and Penn just did all the comedy and playfulness. I imagine they just kept the formula the equal during the Showtime show, though I’ve seen an episode or two where Teller “talks” off camera (if I recall, he swore while being “branded” in the PETA show).

Penn & Teller have been together since long before Bullshit started up, Teller has generally never talked during their performances - just a gimmick that’s been part of their exhibit forever.

  • is Teller (of Penn & Teller fame) actually gay, or did I just fully hallucinate that knowledge

  • I’m pretty sure he’s gay, though he doesn’t really talk about it. Here’s an Instagram post from 2018 of Teller and his loved one.

I guess he and Teller have a good thing going, but I wouldn't desire my colleague/work partner to speak about me in such impersonal terms after so long. Some quotes.

[Quote] Interviewer: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard that part of your triumph in your working relationship with Teller is that the two of you aren't super-close in your personal life.

"Not at all. Teller and I probably socialize maybe three times a year. Maybe three times a year we actually go out and have dinner and see a movie. There's a few reasons for that. Our relationship is very much based around the show rather than based around affections. Some people you treasure and just want to cuddle them when you see them. Teller and I work together because we do better perform together. Guys like Lennon and McCartney really did have that love, and that can acquire in the way of the work. Teller and I are a lot like two guys running a dry cleaning business. It turns out that respect is more enduring than affection."

[Quote] I believe that the emotional groups Lennon and McCartney, Martin and Lewis, Gilbert and Sullivan… We don’t have teams nowadays, we have to go assist in time, but um, Martin and Lewis, and s
