Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos reveal that their son Joaquin has graduated college

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are parents to another college graduate.

During their "LIVE with Kelly and Mark" show on Monday, the co-hosts mutual that their youngest son, Joaquin Consuelos, graduated over the weekend from the University of Michigan.

"We just returned from Ann Arbor, Michigan, where our newborn baby graduated university," Ripa said. "That's right. We are done."

Mark Consuelos added that he and Ripa had many questions about the day's agenda but found out from other parents -- mainly parents of other boys, they said -- that they were also left in the dark when it came to details about the schedule.

"What was interesting was we were talking to all of the other parents, we realized we weren't alone, because there's a bunch of information that parents need," he said.

Ripa added, "I'm going to gender stereotype. It was the moms of the boys that said, 'I had no idea this was even happening until you sent that group text.'"

For Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, June 2, 2025 is a big day — their "newborn baby," per Kelly,aka Michael Consuelos, celebrates his 28th birthday.

Michael is the oldest of Kelly and Mark's three children, the others being Lola Consuelos, 23, and Joaquin Consuelos, 21. All three are part of the amusement industry in some fashion, just like their parents.

The newly minted 28-year-old, in particular, is a budding actor, writer and filmmaker, having studied the craft at New York University. He was a producer with Bravo and recently worked on the series Owning Manhattan for Netflix.

Kelly and Mark, both 54, couldn't resist shouting their first born out during the latest installment of LIVE with Kelly and Mark, the morning of his birthday. "Our newborn baby, our first child, is 28 years old today."

The couple couldn't support but marvel at how speedy time flew by, leaning into a chorus of "Wow!" and "What?!" and "How did that happen?"

Kelly Ripa is her son's biggest fan. Michael Consuelos, the eldest youngster of Kelly and Mark Consuelos, has shared an update on his being, embracing a bold convert. In a new upload on Instagram, Michael common a look at his life, prompting a nice comment from his mother.

Michael's most recent post was made up of three photos, displaying him in different locations. All of them demonstrate him with brown slicked back hair, with the last image showing a shorter hairstyle. The images feature Michael on his phone, working on his computer, and looking very focused. 

They also showcase his creative personality, which isn't afraid to try fresh looks, with the second image showing Michael with a mustache. "Most dopest," wrote Kelly in the comments.

It's another instance of Michael's daring approach to his styling, with him dying his hair blonde in 2018, where he was photographed accompanying his mother at the Broadway show "Kinky Boots."

Kelly Ripa's firstborn, Michael Consuelos, caused quite the commotion on social media this week after sharing a new photo on Instagram. 

The 27-year-old aspiring actor posted a picture of himself that had been captured by a friend, as he walked down the street while on the phone. 

Michael was mid-sentence as the snap was taken, and looked cool dressed in a navy jacket and wearing oversized glasses, looking the double of his famous dad, Identify Consuelos. 

"You're too hip for school Mikey Jo," she wrote. Kelly, meanwhile, joked: "Hello Chipotle," uncovering her son is a big fan of the rapidly food joint. 

Michael graduated from NYU in 2020 and has been making a name for himself in the business industry over the past few years. 

Most recently, he played the role of Mr. Derek Cross in an unique short web movie, Dissocia, which took away an award at the Lighthouse International Film Festival back in June for Best Episodic.
