In order to answer the doubt “Is being same-sex attracted a sin?” we need to test some assumptions upon which the interrogate is based. Within the past fifty years, the word gay, as applied to homosexuality, has exploded into mainstream culture, and we are told that “being gay” is as much outside one’s control as “being short” or having blonde hair. So the ask is worded in a loaded way and impossible to adequately answer in that form. We need to split this question up and deal with each piece separately. Rather than request, “Is being homosexual a sin?” we need to request, “Is it sinful to have queer attractions?” And, “Is it sinful to engage in lesbian activities because of those attractions?”
Concerning the first question, “Is it sinful to have same-sex attractions?” the answer is complicated. First, we should probably distinguish between (actively) sinning and (passively) existence tempted:

For the last two decades, Pew Research Center has reported that one of the most enduring ethical issues across Christian traditions is sexual diversity. For many Christians, one of the most frequently first-asked questions on this topic is, “What does the Bible say about attraction to someone of the same sex?”

I know the Bible says it’s a sin, but it also says that the only unforgivable sin is not accepting Jesus. If a Queer person accepts Jesus but does not change his lifestyle, can he proceed to Heaven? I possess a cousin who’s Gay.

And you are exactly right: there is only one sin that is unforgivable. That is the sin of not believing and not receiving Jesus Christ into your life.
A gay or homosexual person can acceptChrist, just as an alcoholic, a drug addict, or a mass-murderer can accept Christ. Jesus’ offer of salvation is open to everyone.
Your scrutinize is whether someone can acceptChrist, not change his lifestyle, and still travel to heaven. The Bible teaches that if someone has truly accepted Christ into his life, nothing can keep him out of Heaven. In John 10:28, Christ says of Christians,

A: First off, let me speak that I can judge no one’s salvation. Only God can ultimately realize if a person is saved or not. Of course, if a person has surrendered his or her animation to Jesus Christ and accepted what the Bible says a person must do to be saved, then that person WILL be saved. According to the Bible, a key step in salvation is repentance. Repentance and salvation are joint over and over (Acts 2:38)(Mk 1:14-15)(2 Cor 7:10)(Mt 4:17)(Heb 6:1). In coming to Jesus, we must ALL acknowledge that we are sinners, and we need His sacrificial payment for our sins. We must also feel wonderful sorrow and remorse for our sins, and be willing to turn from them, forsake them, and go in a new route with our lives. This is repentance. If we are willing to shift , God will facilitate us. However, if we come to Christ unwilling to turn from sin, we cannot own a saving association with Him.
