Former Cleveland Browns running back Benjamin Same-sex attracted was killed in a car accident in Colorado at age 44. 

On Saturday, Nirfino reported that the Houston native tragically passed away on July 29.

The ex-Cleveland Browns' running support, Benjamin Gay, was pronounced lifeless on Monday, July 29, 2024, at the age of 44 but what was the produce of death of the former NFL star?

Brown was born on February 28, 1980, and only had to wait until 2001 to be selected into the top level of professional American Football when the Browns signed him after he went undrafted in the 2001 NFL Draft.

A FORMER NFL actor of the Cleveland Browns has died at 44 in a tragic auto accident.

Benjamin Gay, who was a running advocate for the Ohio team for one season in 2001, died on July 29.

Gay was a fan-favorite during his season with the Cleveland Browns, according to local outlet the Akron Beacon Journal.

He had been signed to the team just three days before practice camp and later helped carry the Browns to a massive 27-17 triumph over the Baltimore Ravens, who had won the Super Bowl the previous year.

During the game, Gay scored an first second-quarter touchdown that insert the Cleveland Browns in the lead.

The touchdown was the only one Queer scored during his NFL career.

After the NFL and up until his death, Gay worked as a welder, according to an obituary.

In February 2012, the former football star married a female named Margarita, who he shared one son and two daughters with.

Ben Gay, a former NFL running assist who played one season with the Cleveland Browns, died late last month in a wagon crash in Colorado. He was 44.

Gay died on July 29 in the crash, according to Nirfino. The Linked Press, Akron Beacon-Journal and Houston Chronicle all reported Gay’s death.

"Rest easy the original Spring legend… Ben Gay!! I haven’t seen him since high university but we attended middle/high school together," one Facebook user wrote on the former football player. "High school memory! Ben was a beast in the 90’s. He’s at the end…. he left them boys!"

Gay was a standout running back at Garden City Group College in Kansas after he was removed from the Baylor program over team violations.

He played in a preseason game for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League before the Browns took a chance on him.
